Description
The Scissors Stitch is a type of surgical scissors that are 13.5cm/5in in length and made of stainless steel. They are designed to remain open while cutting sutures, which helps to avoid damaging the surrounding tissue. Metzenbaum scissors, also known as Metz, are often used for fine dissection and cutting, but should not be used to cut sutures as this can dull the scissors and make them less effective for dissection.
